A succinct and brilliantly expressed piece about the running commentary that goes on in the back of our minds which tends to reduce our capacity to be present.
My theory is that the analytical mind was born out of fear from when we are young, as a (maybe natural) tool to avoid making mistakes while attempting to have more control over our lives.
We realise that we are just tying ourselves in knots as we age however, and then try to let go so we can be okay with the unknown and experience life fully again.
