Just because we have developed a certain level of self-awareness which means that we now have knowledge of our impending demise - namely death, and that we wish to avoid a premature one does not mean that we are different from nature which is the first fundamental point I disagree with.
Not that I am a Stoic by any means but I believe the basis is to accept your truth and live by it as that is the one you will judge yourself on. It's important to analyse the universe and the many philosiphical questions it poses but ultimately, our time is short. Pragmatism is useful.
If you enjoy following these questions into the depths as I do, by all means, philosophize to your hearts content, but for many it could lead them down Nietzche's path, into madness and misery.
