Returning Home and Letting Go of Trauma

I recently returned home to visit family after three and a half years in Australia. Prior to my time in Australia, I have travelled and lived abroad, or away from home, since around the age of eighteen. I am now thirty-one. Despite missing family and friends, I had some trepidation about returning home and to memories of my past. Home has always been a trigger for me.
